Mens Katoomba Convention

Around 75 men from our church have just returned from Mens Katoomba Convention. It was a great time for men to be challenged from the Bible about being "Men of Service". 

Our mid-week service and social group for seniors has kicked off the new year.

VIP's is a mid-week church service for seniors who like to get out and enjoy making and building friendship and who may find it difficult to get to church on a weekend.  The Bible-focused service is only short and is followed by a gorgeous spread of morning tea.

The group of around 20-25 regulars come from all walks of life, some are finding out about Christianity, others have been Christians for many years.  VIP members are warm and welcoming and would love to see you visit or come along regularly.

Thursdays during school term

Playtime has resumed for the year with lots of neighbourhood families turning up to enjoy each other's company.

Playtime is a play group for parents, grandparents and carers to bring toddlers and pre-school aged children.  It is open to all families in our local community.  Children learn and are entertained through craft and games and have the opportunity to socialise with other children.  There is also a short bible input for the children.  Adults can also meet others living in the area and build friendships over morning tea.

23 ladies from our Friendship group met together on the third Friday in November for their annual Christmas lunch.

The banquet table was beautifully decorated with hand made ornaments and tableware to welcome the Christmas season and provide a bright and happy setting.  The recent November heatwave did little to deter the girls' enthusiam for meeting together and chatting over a relaxed lunch.

The Friendship group is open to single senior women.  They meet on the 3rd Friday of each month, at 2pm in the church parish room.
